Conference presentations may address the role of humans at the individual, group, and/or societal levels. They may consider universal features of human-technology interactions as well as features that vary across age, culture, economic conditions, and other dimensions of human diversity. In addition to keynote talks by leading researchers, the conference will feature peer-reviewed paper and poster presentations. Ample opportunities will be provided for discussion and networking. 2018 KEYNOTES
The American Psychological Association held an interdisciplinary conference on Technology, Mind, and Society in Washington, DC, on April 5-7, 2018. Scientists, practitioners, policymakers, and students from around the world attended the event.
The conference provided a venue for reporting and assessing current efforts to understand and shape the interactions of human beings and technology, for identifying priorities for future work, and for promoting exchange and collaboration among participants.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Poster Sessions
Posters should be 48" x 36" with a horizontal/landscape orientation. Presenters should have their posters up 5-10 minutes before the poster session begins.
Paper Presentations
Presentations should be 15-20 minutes in length, leaving 5-10 minutes for questions and discussion.
Symposia Presentations
Presentations should be 15-20 minutes in length (depending on the number of presenters), leaving 5-10 minutes for questions and discussion.
*Laptops will be provided in each of the rooms. Presenters are discouraged from presenting from their own laptops and should arrive in their room 5-10 minutes in advance of their session to load their presentation onto the laptop. Be sure to bring a thumb drive with your presentation to the conference.
Registrations cancelled more than 30 days before the event will be refunded 100% of the registration fees. Registrations cancelled less than 30 but more than 15 days before the event will be refunded 50% of the registration fees. Registrations cancelled less than 15 days before the event will not be eligible for a refund.
